About Me
Hey there, This is Yuqin Guo, a multidisciplinary interaction designer and creative technologist working at the intersection of fashion, emerging media, and human–computer interaction (HCI). I received my BFA in Fashion Design from Parsons School of Design and am currently pursuing my master’s degree at NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP).
My work sits between physical materials, computational systems, and interactive storytelling. I enjoy translating conceptual ideas into working prototypes and experiential interfaces that people can see, touch, and engage with.
I work with tools such as Unity, Arduino, JavaScript, TouchDesigner, sensor-based interaction, and 3D modeling to build responsive environments and immersive experiences. I’m particularly interested in connecting user experience, system logic, hardware interaction, and narrative expression to design meaningful human-centered technologies through an HCI-driven approach.
Rather than working within a single discipline, I see my practice as a bridge between fashion, interaction design, and creative technology—exploring how ideas move from concept to tangible experience.
